Astrid, (full name Astrid Jessica Taylor) is the fourth main protagonist in Between Our Realities. She’s 19 years old, 6’4, and pansexual. Her special ability is invincibility. She cannot be defeated at all as long as the markings on her arms are glowing. Her associated color is indigo.

She’s friendly, gentle, and very reliable. Has a curious streak and always wants to understand what is unknown to her. She has a strong sense of justice and always wants to do the right thing, which can lead to her engaging in needless heroics. Though she enjoys the satisfaction things brings her, at times she also resents this because it often means that she is the one to lose things. Tends to be secretive and somewhat selfish. Is quite self conscious and finds it very hard to be happy if she feels others dislike her or that they are talking about her behind her back. Relies heavily on the opinions of others for her own sense of self worth.  

A talented athlete currently in her first year of university, Astrid is trying to balance her schoolwork with trying to be a positive influence in the chaotic lives of Leo and Shiloh. Also weighing on her mind is her worries about her angry and isolated younger sister and a personal mystery that has followed her since childhood. When one of Maggie’s pranks leads to Leo discovering her secret and revealing one of his own, the two of them team up to try and solve the mysteries in their lives
